This all-in-one cleaner is specifically designed with pet parents in mind. My three favorite features:
- CrossWave Pet Pro vacuums and washes floors at the same time. So, you can wash muddy paw prints and spit up, or suck up spilled kibble and clumps of dog hair with just one tool. And I must admit, I’m super impressed with the suction power on this cleaner!
- It’s safe to use on multiple surfaces, such as sealed wood, area rugs, tiles, and laminate. It even has smart touch controls right on the handle to make it easy to switch between cleaning hard floors and area rugs (check out the photo below).
- It was designed for pet parents and features a multi-surface pet brush roll, which is tangle-free for hair up to 8-inches long. Honestly, how frustrating is it when balls of hair get tangled in the brush roll?!
How It Works
When this tool first arrived in the mail, I couldn’t wait to open and assemble … just like a little kid on Christmas!
You just have to click a button under the handle, fill the tank with water and CrossWave Pet Pro’s specialized cleaning formula, and you’re ready to clean! Good news: It comes equipped with two multi-surface cleaning formula bottles!
At this point, you plug it in and select your mode—Area Rug or Hard Floor. The difference? The Area Rug button dispenses more solution than the Hard Floor button does.
You simply have to press a trigger button on the handle to release the cleaning solution. Do a few passes over the wet area to suction up any excess, dirty liquid and voilà!
I’m very impressed with the suction, how much debris the cleaner picks up, and how quickly all wet areas dried.
The Proof Is In The Dirt
While my cream-colored area rug didn’t appear dirty, this is what came out of my first go-around. I’ve used BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro several times since and I continue to come up with nearly black water—yuck!
And another big plus? The dirty water tank features a strainer that separates and traps pet hair/debris for easy emptying. So, you can dump solid waste in the trash and dirty liquid in the toilet.
