Coffee For A Cause: The Brew That Feeds Shelter Dogs

I love coffee. A lot. In fact, knowing that I get to wake up to a fresh cup of black coffee in the morning is part of my motivation for going to sleep so early at night. It’s my way of fast-forwarding life straight to coffee. Can you relate? Well, if you’re a coffee-addicted dog parent, like me, then you are going to love today’s feature: “Every Cup Feeds a Pup” Colombian Supremo Coffee.

This smooth and fragrant blend, which comes in either whole beans or ground, is iHeartDog’s latest product that benefits shelter dogs. Just like the name implies, every cup provides a meal for a shelter pup in need.

Coffee For A Cause

For every 12-ounce bag of Colombian Supremo coffee sold, iHeartDogs will provide 25 meals to shelter dogs in need. So, as you satisfy your morning coffee fix, you can also feel good knowing that you’re sipping for a good cause!

The Taste

So here’s the big question: “Sounds like a great idea, but does this stuff actually taste good?!” Watch my review video to hear my thoughts:

When my coffee bag first arrived in the mail, I immediately noticed the strong aroma. It smelled like a quality roast. Then, I noticed a note on the bottom of the bag, which said: “Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Wild Red Berries.” Let’s just say, my taste buds got very excited and I couldn’t wait to load up my reusable single k-cup filter.

A few sips of my new Joe and I was amazed by how smooth the blend is. It isn’t bitter at all and doesn’t have that awful burned taste that some coffee blends have. The hint of sweet flavors is subtle yet extremely pleasant. I give the flavor four paws up!
