A Quick Look at the Ingredients
Goat’s Milk – Have you ever incorporated goat’s milk into your dog’s diet? You can use it to hydrate their main meals, add it to homemade treats, or let your pup lick a little straight from a bowl! Here’s the thing: Goat’s milk is a nutritional powerhouse for your canine companion. It’s rich in probiotics, meaning it promotes diverse and healthy gut flora (good gut health is key for overall health and wellbeing – in canines and humans)! Plus, it’s a wonderful source of digestive enzymes.
Since I don’t feed goat’s milk every day, I find it easier to buy The Honest Kitchen Instant Goat’s Milk, which comes in powder form and you simply mix with some warm water. This dehydrated goat’s milk doesn’t contain any red-flag fillers or preservatives. But, if you’re looking for raw goat’s milk that comes in a container then look into the Primal brand.

Strawberries – Adding a burst of flavor and a dose of vitamins, strawberries aren’t only a tasty delight for your pup, but also a source of essential nutrients. They’re packed with vitamin C and antioxidants that help fight against free radicals in the body. Check out our Food Facts feature on the many benefits of strawberries for dogs HERE. When shopping for strawberries, remember they’re always featured on the Dirty Dozen list. That means they’re ranked one of the most pesticide-laden fruits in the marketplace. If your budget allows, buy organic. If not, wash the berries thoroughly before eating or serving.
