Hopefully you will never need to give your pooch CPR, but it’s important to know what to do in case of an emergency. If you know the correct way to perform CPR on humans, then many of the steps below will seem familiar. CPR for both humans and adult dogs involve forceful chest compressions with one hand on top of the other and pressing down on the chest. However, CPR isn’t the same for puppies.
