A Shareable Snack
The inspiration for these Broccoli Tot Dog Treats actually came from a toddler recipe I tried recently for my daughter. However, the original version called for several ingredients and seasonings that aren’t ideal for dogs. So, I took the concept and made my own dog-friendly version. While they may be plain, they’re a hit in my house — my dogs, toddler, and even us adults love them! So, if you’re in the mood for a snack, try them! Just a recommendation: If you’re going to steal a few bites, try sprinkling a little salt on top and pair them with your favorite dipping sauce.

The Ingredients

- Oat Flour – Oat flour is a gentle and gluten-free grain option that offers dogs a good source of dietary fiber. It also contains essential nutrients like iron, magnesium, and B vitamins that support metabolic function and immune health.
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese – While cheese should be given to our dogs in moderation, it adds a delicious flavor and provides protein, calcium, and essential fatty acids. Note: When giving cheese to your dog, make sure it’s plain! Avoid cheeses with added herbs, spices, onions, or other ingredients that are toxic to dogs.
- Eggs – Eggs are a nutritional powerhouse for dogs, providing a rich source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. The yolks are loaded with essential fatty acids, vitamins like A and D, and choline, promoting healthy skin, coat, and brain function.
