What Caused The Recall?

Steve’s Real Food issued the voluntary recall after receiving a notice from the Washington Department of Agriculture saying collected samples of the foods tested positive for Salmonella and/or L. mono. According to a recall notice from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA):

“The firm did conduct their own test which resulted in a negative result for both Salmonella and L. mono. However, because of the company’s commitment to overall safety and quality, Steve’s Real Food is conducting a voluntary recall of these products.

No animal or human illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.
