Doggy Silver Dollar Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium/large banana
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons super-fine almond flour
  • Coconut oil, for greasing the griddle

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash banana with a fork.
  2. Add egg and almond flour. Use a hand mixer to thoroughly combine.
  3. Heat griddle to a medium heat and grease with a little coconut oil.
  4. Use a tablespoon to ladle perfectly-sized silver dollar pancakes.
  5. Let cook for a minute or two. Keep an eye on the heat as these tend to burn easily if too high. Once lightly brown on the bottom, flip. Then, let cook for another minute or two.
  6. Let cool and serve to your pooch!

Notes

  • Since I have small breed pups, I like to break these silver dollar pancakes in half before offering them to my dogs. It just makes it easier for them to gobble.
  • Store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
