Fish Paws: Dog Treat Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can plain, skinless, boneless, wild-caught sardines in water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 1/4 cup almond flour

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat oven 350ºF.
  2. Drain canned sardines well.
  3. Add drained sardines, egg, turmeric, and pepper into a food processor. Mix until you're left with a thick paste consistency. 
  4. Spoon mixture into a mixing bowl.
  5. Add flour and mix in with a spoon.
  6. Either form into little balls and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet OR stuff into a silicone mold of your choice.
  7. Bake 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool before serving to your drooling dogs!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
