Mini Turkey Loaf Muffin Dog Treats

Ingredients
  

  • Coconut oil, to create muffin tin
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup finely ground almond flour
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots (or other Fido-friendly veggies)
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease two mini muffin tins with coconut oil. Set aside.
  2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Using a fork, mix all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  4. Spoon mixture into muffin tins.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • There is no need to defrost the peas and carrots - just use frozen.
  • Store turkey loaf muffins in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
